WE OFFER EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNG ARCHITECTS PREPARING FOR THEIR LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS AND FOR LICENSED ARCHITECTS WHO ARE REQUIRED TO MEET MINIMUM CONTINUING EDUCATION STANDARDS PER THE STATE OF GEORGIA. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE OFFERED TO THE CHAPTER'S NEARLY 1782 MEMBERS.
AIA ATLANTA ENGAGES EXTENSIVELY IN PUBLIC EDUCATION AND OUTREACH REGARDING THE VALUE OF QUALITY ARCHITECTURE AND WHAT AN ARCHITECT DOES. THESE ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE IN THE FORM OF PUBLIC NEWSLETTERS, SOCIAL MEDIA, ARCHITECTURE FESTIVALS, PROGRAMS FOR K-12 SCHOOLS, AND DISSEMINATION OF ACCESS TO ESSAYS, FILMS, AND OTHER TOOLS FROM AIA NATIONAL.
WE OFFER NETWORKING AND SOCIAL EVENTS TO KEEP ARCHITECTS AND ALLIED PROFESSIONALS IN TOUCH. MEMBERS OF THE ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING, CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES WORK CLOSELY TOGETHER ON ALL ELEMENTS OF PROVIDING THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT TO SOCIETY.
