ORGANIZE MEETINGS DURING THE YEAR TO PROVIDE VETERINARIANS WITH REQUIRED CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS FOR PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE. THIS EDUCATION INCLUDES BOTH VETERINARY AND LEGAL EDUCATION NEEDED FOR MEMBERS.


QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER - GEORGIA VETERINARIAN - PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL, BUSIESS AND PRACTICE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION FOR VETERINARIANS. IT PROVIDES UP TO DATE INFORMATION TO GEORGIA'S VETERINARIANS AND IT CONTINUES TO GROW WITH THE PROFESSION. THE PUBLICATION IS HIGHLY VALUED BY GVMA MEMBERS AND IS CONTINUALLY CITED AS ONE OF THE TOP BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP. IT REACHES MORE THAN 3,000 VETERINARIANS, TECHNICIANS, STUDENTS AND INDUSTRY LEADERS. IT IS FREE TO MEMBERS.

THE PURPOSE OF THE EVENT IS TO PROMOTE COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND DEMONSTRATE PRACTICAL SKILLS IN THE FIELD OF VETERINARY SCIENCE IN THE AREAS OF: ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY, CLINICAL PROCEDURES, IDENTIFICATION, HEALTH AND SAFETY AND MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY

GEORGIA FOUNDATION FOR AGRICULTURE INC

PURPOSE: THE GEORGIA FARM BUREAU'S MOBILE PROJECT. THE MOBILE CLASSROOM, AIMED AT MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS, WILL BE BASED ON STEM LESSON PLANS TO HELP TEACHERS IN MEETING THOSE STANDARDS. THERE WILL BE EIGHT STATIONS (ALL COMMODITY BASED AREAS OF AGRICULTURE): POULTRY, PEANUTS, COTTON, BEEF AND DIARY, FORESTRY, ENVIORNMENTAL HORTICULTURE, FRUITS/VEGETABLES/PECANS AND CAREERS IN AGRICULTURE. STATIONS WILL BE A COMBINATION OF VIDEO GAMES, AUGMENTED REALITY, HOLOGRAMS AND VIDEOS.
