THE DOUGLAS COFFEE COUNTY OF CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INC. IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCING THE ECONOMIC, INDUSTRIAL, AGRICULTURAL, PROFESSIONAL, CULTURAL, AND CIVIC WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY. FURTHER, THE ORGANIZATION ENCOURAGES THE GROWTH OF EXISTING INDUSTRY AND BUSINESS WHILE GIVING ALL PROPER ASSISTANCE TO ANY NEW FIRMS OR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING TO LOCATE IN COFFEE COUNTY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTS THOSE ACTIVITIES BELIEVED TO BE BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY AND OPPOSES THOSE WHICH MIGHT BE DETRIMENTAL. MEMBER SERVICES - MEMBERSHIP IS PROVIDED WITH A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, MONTHLY MEETINGS THAT PROVIDE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, PROMOTIONAL PROGRAMS, AND A VENUE TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT MEMBER BUSINESSES.
MEMBER RELATIONS - RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RELATIONSHIP WITH ALL OF OUR MEMBERS AND ENSURING THE BEST MEMBER EXPERIENCE. WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ACTIVELY ENGAGING OUR MEMBERS TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF THEIR NEEDS ARE TAKEN CARE OF IN ORDER TO BEST HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR STRATEGIC MISSION.
HOTEL/MOTEL TAX PROGRAM - THE CHAMBER RECEIVES A PORTION OF THE CITY OF DOUGLAS HOTEL/MOTEL TAX TO FUND A VARIETY OF PROJECTS THAT WILL HELP PROMOTE THE AREA AS A TOURIST DESTINATION FOR MEETINGS, CONVENTIONS, HISTORIC AND CULTURAL TRAVEL, AND OTHER TYPES OF ATTRACTIONS.
