A GROUP OF INDEPENDENT USERS AND SUPPLIERS THAT SEEKS TO DRIVE THE ADOPTION OF THE MODBUS COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL SUITE THROUGH EDUCATION, PROMOTION AND STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES.

PRIMARY FOCUS PROVIDING MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATION PLATFORMS WHICH SUPPORT OUR MISSION. THESE PLATFORMS INCLUDE THE MODBUS.ORG WEBSITE, MAINTENANCE OF AN ELECTRONIC FORUM ON THE TECHNOLOGY, AND INTERACTION PRIMARILY THROUGH EMAIL RESPONDING TO QUESTIONS ON THE SPECIFICATIONS. THE DEVICE DIRECTORY INCLUDES A TOTAL OF 1,391 DEVICES AND 690 SUPPLIERS. THE MODBUS SPECIFICATION TOOL KIT CONTINUES TO BE MAINTAINED AND DISTRIBUTED.
THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO PROVIDE MODBUS CONFORMANCE TESTING IN THE UNITED STATES. TESTED DEVICES ARE ANNOUNCED ON THE WEBSITE AND LISTED IN THE MODBUS DEVICE DIRECTORY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE SUPPLIER THAT HAD THE DEVICES TESTED.
