THE FOUNDATION OWNS AND OPERATES THE LAKE CONESTEE NATURE PARK IN GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC, PROVIDING PUBLIC ACCESS 365 DAYS PER YEAR. THE FOUNDATION LEASES LAKE CONESTEE NATURE PARK TO GREENVILLE COUNTY PARKS RECREATION AND TOURISM TO INCLUDE IN THE COUNTY'S PORTFOLIO OF PARKS. THE COUNTY SHARES RESPONSIBILITY WITH THE FOUNDATION TO MAINTAIN THE PARK INFRASTRUCTURE. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO ASSIST WITH BUILDING ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND REPAIRING AND MAINTAINING THE INFRASTRUCTURE. THE NATURE PARK IS A PUBLIC GREENSPACE AND RECREATION DESTINATION USED TO OPERATE A VIBRANT EDUCATION PROGRAM AND PROTECT LOCAL WILDLIFE.
