THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY OF ROPER MOUNTAIN SCIENCE CENTER THROUGH FUNDRAISING TO ENHANCE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND AWARENESS OF THE SCIENCES FOR THE BENEFIT OF STUDENTS, TEACHERS, FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITY.

RMSCA'S SOLE PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT THE LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY OF ROPER MOUNTAIN SCIENCE CENTER. IN ADDITION TO TYPICAL PROGRAM SUPPORT, THIS YEAR INCLUDED CREATING THE RMSCA SUSTAINING FUND AS A QUASI-ENDOWMENT INVESTED WITH THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF GREENVILLE LAUNCHING DOING BIG THINGS ON A LITTLE MOUNTAIN CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FOR THE NEW ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES BUILDING AND OBTAINING PLEDGES OF JUST UNDER 3 MILLION, HOSTING THE UNVEILINGS OF THE WATER STORY EXHIBIT AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE GALLERIES AS WELL AS A DONOR RECOGNITION & EXHIBIT GRAND OPENING FOR THE ESB.
