ST. JOHNS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY EMPLOYED TEACHERS, PROVIDED FACILITIES AND RELATED SUPPLIES TO EDUCATE 440+ STUDENTS GRADES K-3 THROUGH 12 GRADE. IN DECEMBER 2007, ST. JOHNS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY WAS AWARDED ADVANCED ACCREDITATION BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (SCISA). THIS FIVE-YEAR ACCREDITATION IS RESERVED FOR THOSE SCHOOLS THAT MEET SCISA'S HIGHEST STANDARDS. IN ADDITION TO ACREDITATION, SCISA PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, ATHLETIC LEAGUES, STUDENT ACTIVITIES AND COMPETITIONS, AND POLICY MONITORING. OUR HIGH SHCOOL STUDENTS AVERAGE OVER 1100 ON THE SAT, AND OUR GRADUATES ARE ACCEPTED BY THE FINEST COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES. OUR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS ROUTINELY SCORE OVER THE 60TH PERCENTILE NATIONALLY ON THE STANFORD ACHIEVEMENT TEST.
