ANNUAL FESTIVAL CALLED "SUMMERFEST." MAIN STREET IS CLOSED AND STREET VENDORS RENT SPACE TO SELL CRAFTS, FOOD, ETC. THERE IS A 10K/5K/FUN RUN, CAR SHOW, GOLF, TENNIS, AND SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS. ALL ACTIVITIES ARE TO PROMOTE THE COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING BUSINESSES.
"DOWNTOWN LIVE" IS A CELEBRATION IN A LARGE PARKING LOT WHERE BANDS PLAY MUSIC FOR THE PUBLIC TO ENJOY.
THERE IS AN ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE HELD IN DECEMBER. SPONSORS PAY FOR FLOATS AND ENTRY FEES.
