TO SUPPORT FUNDRAISING AT THE UNC HUSSMAN SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM AND MEDIA FOUNDATION. THE FOUNDATION'S RESPONSIBILITY IS TO TRAIN THE NEXT GENERATION OF MEDIA PROFESSIONALS, INCLUDING JOURNALISTS, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATORS, TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS, AND TO SERVE JOURNALISM AND COMMUNICATION PROFESSIONALS.WE HOLD TRUE TO THE CORE PRINCIPLES OF MEDIA AND JOURNALISM EDUCATION WHILE LEADING THE TRANSFORMATION IN THE DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS ENVIRONMENT. WE HARNESS TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE OUR MISSION OF TEACHING, RESEARCH AND SERVICE. THE RESULT IS A HIGHLY ENGAGED SCHOOL WITH A SIGNIFICANT VOICE IN THE EVOLVING ISSUES OF OUR TIME.
