THE RECKONING INTERNATIONAL IS A FAITH-BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT SEEKS TO MOBILIZE VOLUNTEERS TO CHANGE THE WORLD THROUGH INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. ONE OF OUR METHODS IS TO UTILIZE VOLUNTEERS WHO CAN WORK WITH INDIGENOUS PARTNERS TO PROVIDE THEM WITH ADVOCACY, TRAINING, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND SMALL BUSINESS LOANS.

THE FILING ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS WE'VE BUILT RELATIONSHIPS WITH IN COUNTRIES WHERE AID IS PROVIDED. THESE AFFILIATES SHARE OUR PASSION AND PURPOSE AND HELP THE RECKONING REACH THOSE IN NEED. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAS AT LEAST ONE FULL-TIME MISSIONARY IN AFRICA TO HELP WITH ADMINISTRATION, OVER-SEEING PROJECTS, EDUCATIONAL TRAINING, AND AGRICULTURAL PROGRAMS. LAST YEAR THE ORGANIZATION HAD ANOTHER FULL TIME MISSIONARY FAMILY COMPLETE THEIR THREE YEAR COMMITMENT AND BEGAN WORKING WITH A NEW MISSIONARY CONTACT IN AFRICA AS WELL. THIS IS ALL MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE HELP OF OUR AFFILIATES AND GENEROUS DONORS.
THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES AND FUNDS LIVELIHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS. THE KEY TO OVERCOMING POVERTY IN THE THIRD WORLD IS EMPOWERING PEOPLE TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN GIFTS AND SKILL-SETS SO THEY CAN BUILD A LIVELIHOOD AND TO COACH THEM IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SO THEY CAN THRIVE AND BLESS OTHERS IN NEED. THIS YEAR THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR ORHPANED CHILDREN IN UGANDA. THE ORGANIZATION INVESTED IN SEVERAL WORKSHOPS FOR MICRO BUSINESSES AND SKILLS TRAINING.
