THE MISSION OF THE PARKTACULAR FESTIVAL IS TO PROVIDE ST. LOUIS PARK WITH AN EVENT THAT BRINGS TOGETHER LOCAL BUSINESSES AND CITIZENS OF ALL AGES TO ENCOURAGE A SPIRIT OF PRIDE, A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND AN ATMOSPHERE OF CELEBRATION FOR ALL RESIDENTS.

THE PARKTACULAR FESTIVAL TYPICALLY PROVIDES ST. LOUIS PARK, MN WITH A EVENT THAT BRINGS TOGETHER LOCAL BUSINESSES AND CITIZENS OF ALL AGES TO CELEBRATE COMMUNITY PRIDE. THE EVENT SCHEDULED WITHIN THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JULY 31, 2020 WAS CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC - ALTHOUGH EXPENSES HAD BEEN INCURRED IN THE PLANNING OF THE EVENT PRIOR TO ITS CANCELLATIONS. THE EVENT WAS TO INCLUDE THE GRAND DAY PARADE, A CONCERT AT ST. LOUIS PARK'S ROC, A SENIOR DINNER, A SPLASH INTO SUMMER EVENT AT THE SLP POOL, PARKTACULAR EXPO, FOOD TRUCKS, INFLATABLES AND ATTRACTIONS, KIDTACULAR FISHING CLINIC AND KIDS ACTIVITIES, ETC. THE FESTIVAL IS MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH SPONSORS, IN KIND DONATIONS, PROCEEDS FROM BUTTON SALES AND THE DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS ON THE BOARD, PLANNING COMMITTEE AND ON FESTIVAL WEEKEND.
