Part 3

ASSIST KENYAN STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES AS THEY RISE OUT OF POVERTY. WE PROVIDE MONETARY SUPPORT TO OVER 300 PRIMARY AGE, OVER 50 HIGH SCHOOL AGE AND OVER 30 COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, WHICH INCLUDES SCHOOL FEES, AGRICULTURAL SUPPORT AND BUSINESS TRAINING.


FRIENDS OF KAKAMEGA IS CONSOLIDATING WITH CROSSROADS SPRINGS AFRICA, INC INTO A NEW 501(C)3, FRIENDS OF KENYA RISING. FRIENDS OF KENYA RISING WAS FORMED IN 2020 AND APPLIED FOR ITS OWN 501(C)3 STATUS (WHICH WAS APPROVED ON MARCH 29, 2021). AS FRIENDS OF KENYA RISING OPENED ITS OWN BANK ACCOUNT FRIENDS OF KAKAMEGA MADE ITS FIRST TRANSFER OF ASSETS TO THIS NEW ORGANIZATION.
