THE BOARD TOOK OVER MANAGEMENT OF THE APARTMENTS ON OCTOBER 1, 2020 FROM HEARTHSIDE FOUND MANY NON-PAYING TENANTS, UNREPORTED DAMAGES, NON-WORKING FIRE ALARMS, AND AN INSECT INFESTATION THROUGHOUT THE COMPLEX. THE CONTINUATION OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC INTO 2021 HAS RESULTED IN: DECREASED REVENUE FROM TENANTS, INABILITY TO EVICT TENANTS WHO FAILED TO PAY RENT, LACK OF FUNDS TO MEET OUR GOALS OF RESTORATION AND REPAIR, AND THE INABILITY TO REPLACE WATER PIPE LINES DUE TO AN AGING SYSTEM IN NEED OF FREQUENT REPAIR.
