VICTORY JUNCTION ENRICHES THE LIVES OF CHILDREN WITH CHRONIC MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR SERIOUS ILLNESSES BY PROVIDING LIFE-CHANGING CAMPING EXPERIENCES THAT ARE EXCITING, FUN, AND EMPOWERING, IN A SAFE AND MEDICALLY-SOUND ENVIRONMENT.

VICTORY JUNCTION OPERATES A SAFE AND MEDICALLY-SOUND LIFE-CHANGING CAMPING EXPERIENCE TO CHILDREN WITH CHRONIC MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR SERIOUS ILLNESSES. DURING 2023, VICTORY JUNCTION HELD THE FOLLOWING MODIFIED SESSIONS: 5 SPRING, 8 SUMMER RETREATS, 4 SUMMER DAY CAMPS AND 9 FALL SESSIONS GRANTING OVER 11,536 CAMP EXPERIENCES TO CHILDREN (AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS) WITH THE FOLLOWING MEDICAL CONDITIONS: AUTISM, BURN SURVIVOR, CANCER, CRANIOFACIAL ANOMALIES, CYSTIC FIBROSIS, DEAF-BLINDNESS, DIABETES, DOWN SYNDROME, GASTROINTESTINAL DISORDER, RHEUMATOLOGIC DISORDER, KIDNEY DISEASE, LUNG DISEASE, NEUROLOGY/SEIZURE DISORDER, PHYSICAL DISABILITY, SICKLE CELL DISEASE, SKELETAL DYSPLASIA, SKIN DISEASE, SPINA BIFIDA, TRANSVERSE MYELITIS, TRANSPLANT RECIPIENT, AND VENTILATOR DEPENDENCE.THE NUMBER OF CAMP EXPERIENCES PROVIDED SINCE VICTORY JUNCTION OPENED ITS DOORS IN 2004 HAS EXCEEDED 126,548. PROGRAM AREAS INCLUDE ACTING, ARCHERY, ATHLETICS, BOATING, BOWLING, CERAMICS, CLIMBING, FISHING, KICKBALL, HORSEBACK RIDING, MINIATURE GOLF, MUSIC, OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, PAINTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, PLAYING, SINGING, SWIMMING, WOODWORKING AND ZIPLINE. VICTORY JUNCTION WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SERVE THESE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IF IT WEREN'T FOR OUR VOLUNTEERS. DURING 2023, 1,076 GENEROUS PEOPLE VOLUNTEERED OVER 37,152 HOURS OF THEIR TIME. FROM 2004 TO THE PRESENT, CUMULATIVE VOLUNTEER HOURS EXCEED 868,197.
