HOUSING COLLABORATIVE WAS FOUNDED IN 1999 WITH A GOAL TO FACILITATE ACCESS TO HOUSING VIA ONLINE- AND CALL CENTER-BASED HOUSING LOCATION SERVICES. WE HAVE LONG BEEN COMMITTED TO SECOND CHANCE EMPLOYMENT AND INTERNAL PROGRAMMING. MANY OF OUR EMPLOYEES HAVE EXPERIENCED BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT SUCH AS JUSTICE SYSTEM INVOLVEMENT, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND/OR HOUSING CRISES. WITH INTENSIVE TRAINING AND SUPPORT, OUR TEAM MEMBERS BECOME CARING, RESOURCEFUL HOUSING EXPERTS. OVER TIME, OUR HOUSING PLACEMENT AND RETENTION SERVICES HAVE EXPANDED THANKS TO OUR UNDERSTANDING OF AND RESPONSIVENESS TO THE NEEDS OF HOUSING AND SERVICES PROVIDERS AS WELL AS TENANTS. CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O IN FY22, HOUSING COLLABORATIVE CONTINUED ITS SERVICES TO HELP ADDRESS THE HOUSING CRISIS CAUSED BY COVID 19. WE CONTINUED OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH DREAMKEY PARTNERS TO DISTRIBUTE RENT, UTILITY, AND HOTEL PAYMENT ASSISTANCE, AND FURTHER EXPANDED OUR HOUSINGCLT PROGRAM TO SECURE HOUSING FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. -- APPROXIMATELY $75M IN IN DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WAS DISTRIBUTED TO SUPPORT HOUSING RETENTION FOR OVER 11,600 HOUSEHOLDS. -- THROUGH HOUSING COLLABORATIVE'S HOUSINGCLT PROGRAM, 286 FORMERLY HOMELESS FAMILIES SECURED PERMANENT HOUSING. -- 428 HOUSEHOLDS WERE ASSISTED WITH FIRST MONTH'S RENT AND SECURITY DEPOSITS THROUGH THE DEPOSIT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. -- $1.165M IN ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED TO REMOVE BARRIERS TO HOUSING FOR 394 HOUSEHOLDS, INCLUDING ARREARS, APPLICATION FEES, AND LANDLORD INCENTIVES. -- THREE EMPLOYEES WERE PROMOTED.
