OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022 INCLUDED: DEVELOPED AND DISSEMINATED TECHNICAL INFORMATION, NEWSLETTERS, WEBSITE, STRATEGIC PLANNING AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING. HELD ANNUAL MEETING IN LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY WITH 30 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HOURS AVAILABLE TO OVER 400 ATTENDEES CONDUCTED A 2-DAY LEADERSHIP TRAINING CLASS FOR THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. PROVIDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR TWO MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN A YEAR-LONG INTERNATIONAL ITE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR 9 MEMBERS TO ATTEND THE INTERNATIONAL ITE ANNUAL MEETING IN NEW ORLEANS. PROVIDED SUPPORT GRANTS TO 14 STUDENT CHAPTERS OF THE ORGANIZATION, HELD STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION, HOSTED A TRAFFIC BOWL COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS. HELPED SPONSOR A THREE-DAY STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT AT VIRGINIA TECH. IT INCLUDED OVER 50 STUDENTS FROM VARIOUS SOUTHEASTERN U.S. UNIVERSITIES. CONTINUED AN OUTREACH PROJECT ON DISTRACTED DRIVING.
