WE PROVIDED FUNDING FOR FIVE FULL-TIME AND ONE PART-TIME TEACHERS IN THE MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY NC. THESE TEACHERS PROVIDED BIBLE EDUCATION AS AN ELECTIVE FOR CREDIT IN A CLASSROOM SETTING TO ABOUT 1000 STUDENTS. THE FUNDING WAS PROVIDED IN THE FORM OF REIMBURSEMENT TO ROCKINGHAM COUNTY SCHOOLS FOR THE FULL-TIME TEACHERS AND TO BETHANY COMMUNITY SCHOOL FOR THE PART-TIME TEACHER FOR ALL WAGE AND BENEFIT EXPENSES.
WE PROVIDED RELEASE TIME BIBLE EDUCATION TO FOURTH AND FIFTH GRADERS IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY NC. WE DID THIS BY CONTRACTING WITH TEACHERS AND PROVIDING TWO BUSES OUTFITTED AS MOBILE CLASSROOMS HEATING COOLING AND ELECTRICAL PROVIDED BY A GENERATOR. THE SERVICE IS OFFERED TO ALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTY A TOTAL OF 15 SCHOOLS. ALL TOGETHER ABOUT 400 STUDENTS.
