THE GOLF COACHES ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA IS DEDICATED TO EDUCATING, PROMOTING & RECOGNIZING ITS MEMBERS WHO PARTICIPATE IN MENS GOLF AT ALL LEVELS. THROUGH ITS ESTABLISHED EVENTS & PROGRAMS, THE GCAA MAINTAINS A GOAL OF INCREASING AWARENESS & STATUS OF MENS GOLF.

COLLEGE TOURNAMENTS & MANAGEMENT - THE PALMER CUP, PATRIOT CUP AND GENESIS SHOWCASE ARE ANNUAL EVENTS HELD TO RECOGNIZE AND PROMOTE THE GAME OF GOLF AND SPECIFICALLY TO PROMOTE GOLF AMONG COLLEGIATE MENS PLAYERS. THE MATCHES RECOGNIZE THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE STUDENT ATHLETES AND OUR MEMBER COACHES FROM MEMBER UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES. ADDITIONALLY, THE MATCHES PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR JUNIOR GOLFERS TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTION FROM THE STUDENT-ATHLETE PARTICIPANTS AND COACHES.
AMATEUR TOURNAMENTS - THE GCAA HELD A SERIES OF AMATEUR GOLF TOURNAMENTS DUE TO PROVIDE COLLEGE GOLFERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE BECAUSE MANY COMPETITIONS WERE CANCELED DURING THE PANDEMIC. THIS FURTHERED ITS MISSION OF PROVIDING SERVICES TO COLLEGIATE GOLFERS.
NATIONAL COACHES CONVENTION - THE EVENT IS HELD ANNUALLY FOR THE MEMBERSHIP AND INVITED GUESTS TO DISCUSS PERTINENT ISSUES AND TOPICS RELATED TO COLLEGIATE GOLF. NUMEROUS EDUCATIONAL BREAKOUT SESSIONS ARE HELD TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION TO THE MEMBERSHIP. NATIONALLY SIGNIFICANT SPEAKERS PROVIDE EDUCATION DURING THE CONVENTION. A NATIONAL AWARDS AND HALL OF FAME BANQUET IS HELD DURING THE EVENT TO RECOGNIZE THE OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS OF SELECTED MEMBER COACHES.
