THE OSSIPEE VALLEY STRING CAMP: STUDENTS LEARN FROM WORLD RENOUNED INSTRUCTORS IN MUSIC OVER 4 DAYS. 25% OF THE STUDENT BODY WAS AS SCHOLARSHIP, AND STUDENTS ALSO ENJOYED FARM TO TABLE MEALS FROM LOCAL FARMS
THE OSSIPEE VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL BRINGS GRAMMY WINNING,WORLD RENOUNED AND UP AND COMING MUSICIANS TO PERFORM IN A VERY RURAL,ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED AREA OVER FOUR DAYS. THE FESTIVAL OFFERS FREE TICKETS FOR KIDS 17 AND UNDER, FREE CAMPING, AND DEEPLY DISCOUNTED TICKETS FOR LOCAL ATTENDEES. THE FESTIVAL ACTIVELY SEEKS FEMALE PERFORMERS AND ARTISTS OF COLOR,SUPPORTS FOOD VENDORS THAT BUY FROM LOCAL FARMS AND PROVIDES FREE VENDING SPACE FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS FROM THE AREA.
