SWIMMING PROGRAMS: GWINNETT AQUATICS ORGANIZED AND MANAGED A YOUTH SWIM TEAM FOR APPROXIMATELY 130 MEMBERS RANGING FROM 6-20 YRS OLD. PRACTICES WERE HELD DAILY DIVIDED INTO SIX GROUPS. GWINNETT AQUATICS BELONGS TO USA SWIMMING WHICH IS THE GOVERNING BODY FOR COMPETITIVE SWIMMING IN THE US. THIS ACTIVITY FOSTERS PHYSICAL FITNESS AND INCREASES SWIMMING SKILLS. (130 PARTICIPANTS)
LESSONS WERE GIVEN TO YOUTH AND ADULTS. LESSONS RAN 11 MONTHS OF THE YEAR IN 2 AND 4 WEEK SESSIONS. RAN STROKE CLINICS FOR SWIMMERS IN OTHER COMPETITIVE ORGANIZATIONS TO IMPROVE THEIR SKILL AT REASONABLE COST AND WITH SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
