GIRLS INDOOR VOLLEYBALL THE GIRLS PROGRAM IS A ROBUST COMPETITIVE TEAM PROGRAM. THERE IS ONE TEAM OF TEN TO TWELVE GIRLS FOR EACH AGE GROUP 12 THROUGH 18 YEARS OF AGE. PLAYERS SELECTED PLAY IN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION (NVCA) TOURNAMENTS AND POST SEASON TOURNAMENTS. THE SEASON IS DECEMBER THROUGH MAY. TEAMS TRAVEL AND COMPETE IN EIGHT TO TEN TOURNAMENTS OVER THE COURSE OF THE SEASON DEPENDING ON THE AGE GROUP. IF THEY QUALIFY, THERE ARE ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENTS THEY CAN PLAY IN.
BOYS INDOOR VOLLEYBALL THE BOYS PROGRAM HAS A SUMMER PROGRAM AND FALL PROGRAM. THE SUMMER PROGRAM IS TARGETED AT MIDDLE SCHOOL AGED BOYS, PROVIDING INSTRUCTION THAT IS GROUNDED IN TEACHING BASIC VOLLEYBALL FUNDAMENTALS. IT IS A "NO CUT" PROGRAM WHERE PLAYERS RECEIVE INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION, DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS AND LEARN TO PLAY IN SCRIMMAGES. THE FALL PROGRAM IS COMPETATIVE TREAM PLAY WHERE KIDS ARE SELECTED TO PALY ON A TEAM OF 10 TO 12 PLAYERS FOR THE AGE GROUPS 12 TO 18. THEY TRAVEL TO COMPETE IN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION (NCVA) TOURNAMENTS AND A POST SEASON TOURNAMENT.
BLENDERS PROGRAM THE BLENDERS PROGRAM IS A GIRLS SUMMER AND FALL PROGRAM THAT INTRODUCES YOUNG ATHLETES (AGES 8-18) TO THE GAME OF VOLLEYBALL. IT TEACHES THE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE GAME AND GIVES THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE VOLLEYBALL IN A NON-COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT. BLENDERS IS A "NO-CUT" PROGRAM WHERE THE PLAYERS RECEIVE INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCITONS, DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, AND LEARN TO PLAY IN SCRIMMAGES LATER IN THE SEASON.
