2021 WAS A YEAR OF GROWTH, TRANSITION, AND SUCCESS. SIGNIFICANTLY, STAFF CONTINUED THEIR PURSUIT OF NEAR- AND LONG-TERM GOALS RESULTING IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF 22 NEW TRAILBRIDGES THAT PROVIDE YEAR-ROUND SAFE ACCESS FOR 80,617 RURAL RESIDENTS. ADDITIONALLY, 2021 SAW LONG-TIME PRESIDENT AND CEO, AVERY BANG, TRANSITION FROM HER STAFF ROLE TO ONE OF CONTINUED LEADERSHIP AS A MEMBER OF OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE ORGANIZATION'S STRATEGIC PLAN. ACCORDINGLY, THE BOARD LED A SUCCESSFUL GLOBAL SEARCH FOR A NEW CEO WHO WILL LEAD IMPACT IN EAST AFRICA, AND BEYOND, BENEFITING GENERATIONS TO COME.
