IN 2019, THE ORGANIZATION PURCHASED THE HISTORIC HIGHLAND INN IN MONTEREY VIRGINIA AND BEGAN A PRESERVATION PROJECT. RENOVATION OF THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING BEGAN IN 2020. IN 2021, PHASE I OF THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING. OVER 2000 AREA RESIDENTS BENEFIT FROM THE PRESERVATION OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS.
