ASSISTED MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM: OUR VOLUNTEERS DRIVE THE ELDERLY, DISABLED, OR CHRONICALLY ILL NEIGHBORS TO DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS OR DIALYSIS TREATMENTS.
SUPPORTIVE SERVICES PROGRAM: OUR VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE FRIENDLY VISITS TO ELDERLY, DISABLED, OR CHRONICALLY ILL COUNTY RESIDENTS - PROVIDING RESPITE CARE OR ASSISTED NON-MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION, RUNNING ERRANDS, DOING CHORES, SHOPPING FOR GROCERIES AND PROVIDING OTHER SERVICES TO HELP THEM MAINTAIN INDEPENDENT LIVING. VOLUNTEERS ALSO ASSIST WITH QUALITY OF LIFE PROGRAMS TO INVOLVE ISOLATED SENIORS AND DISABLED ADULTS AND CONNECT THEM SOCIALLY WITH THE COMMUNITY.
