THE ORGANIZATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING WITH MEMBERS OF THE DONATION AND TRANSPLANT COMMUNITY TO EFFECTIVELY INCREASE THE NUMBER OF AMERICANS THAT REGISTER A PERSONAL DECISION TO BECOME AN ORGAN, EYE AND TISSUE DONOR UPON THEIR DEATH. THROUGH INCREASING DONOR REGISTRATIONS, THE ORGANIZATION CONTRIBUTES TO INCREASING THE NUMBER OF LIVES SAVED OR HEALED EACH YEAR THROUGH ORGAN, EYE AND TISSUE DONATION. EFFORTS TO INCREASE DONOR REGISTRATIONS AND SAVE MORE LIVES INCLUDE: THE CREATION, PUBLICATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF MARKETING AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS; PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO IMPROVE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF STATE DONOR REGISTRIES; IDENTIFYING AND SPREADING BEST PRACTICES THAT INCREASE DONATION AND TRANSPLANTATION; MANAGING THE NATIONAL BRAND FOR ORGAN, EYE AND TISSUE DONATION (DONATE LIFE); MAINTAINING NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL WEBSITES AND MEMBER SERVICE WEBSITES AND COORDINATING NATIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGNS THAT MOTIVATE AMERICANS TO REGISTER DONATION DECISIONS.
