APPRENTICE AND JOURNEYMAN TRAINING AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT: PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES ARE DESIGNED TO RECRUIT AND PREPARE THE NEXT GENERATION OF SKILLED WORKERS IN THE P-H-C INDUSTRY. THE FOUNDATION'S PLUMBING AND HVACR TEXTBOOKS HAVE TRAINED OVER 400 STUDENTS. ENROLLMENT IN THE PLUMBING AND HVAC ELEARNING PROGRAMS WHICH PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE TO CLASSROOM BASED INSTRUCTION CONTINUED TO GROW. THE REVISIONS TO PLUMBING 301 WERE COMPLETED. THE FOUNDATION WAS A SPONSOR FOR THE HVAC EXCELLENCE INSTRUCTOR WORKSHOP AND SUPPORTED THE SKILLSUSA PLUMBING AND HVAC NATIONAL COMPETITIONS. THE FOUNDATION HOSTED THE NATIONAL PLUMBING AND HVAC CONTESTS.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT TRAINING: THE FOUNDATION DEVELOPS AND DELIVERS BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS WITH A FOCUS ON IMPROVING PROFITABILITY AND PRODUCTIVITY. THE ESSENTIALS OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT COURSE EXAMINED PROJECT MANAGEMENT FROM PRE-BID TO CLOSE-OUT WITH A FOCUS ON STANDARDIZING PROCESS, CUTTING WASTED TIME AND IMPROVING PROFITS. THE CREATING SUPER FOREMEN WORKSHOPS COVERED THE LATEST IN MANAGING CHANGE, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, TIME AND WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT AND WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT. THE SEMINAR AND WEBINAR SERIES REACHED OVER 2,500 CONTRACTORS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES IN ONLINE AND IN PERSON PROGRAMS ON TOPICS INCLUDING NEW OVERTIME RULES, WEB STRATEGIES, AND OSHA'S NEW CONFINED SPACES STANDARDS.
