RESEARCH AND EDUCATION PROJECTS: THE FOUNDATION DEVELOPS NEW EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, PROMOTES THE VALUE OF SENIOR CARE AND CONSULTANT PHARMACY SERVICES, AND ENABLES CONTINUED INNOVATION. SPECIFIC PROJECTS INCLUDE:EDUCATION OF BOARD CERTIFIED GERIATRIC PHARMACISTS (BCGP):ASCPF IS INVOLVED IN THE EDUCATION OF BOARD CERTIFIED GERIATRIC PHARMACISTS. THIS CERTIFICATION REPRESENTS THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CREDENTIALING FOR PHARMACISTS THAT PRACTICE WITH OLDER ADULTS. SENIOR CARE PHARMACIST DIRECTORYASCPF HAS DEVELOPED A PLATFORM TO HOUSE A DATABASE OF PHARMACISTS WITH EXPERTISE IN SENIOR CARE. UNDER OUR MISSION, THREE KEY OBJECTIVES EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, PROVIDING AN EASY TO USE PLATFORM FOR THE PUBLIC, AND PROMOTING TRAINING AND RESOURCES TO SENIOR CARE PHARMACISTS ARE BEING ACHIEVED. THIS HAS A LONG-STANDING HISTORY AS ONE OF THE MOST PRODUCTIVE COMMITTEES WITHIN ASCP, A GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS THAT HELP THE ASCP EDUCATION STAFF DEVELOP STRATEGY FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING WITH ASCP AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS.
