DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION, THROUGH NEWSLETTERS AND OTHER MEANS, TO AMERICAN LEGION POSTS AND DIGNITARIES LOCATED WITHIN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA.


THE PROMOTION OF VARIOUS YOUTH RELATED ACTIVITIES SUCH AS AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL, BOY SCOUTS, SHOOTING TEAMS, AS WELL AS PARTICIPATION IN INFORMAL YOUTH ACTIVITIES SUCH AS YOUTH PARTIES. IN ADDITION, SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO SELECTED COLLEGE STUDENTS.


COORDINATION WITH REGIONAL AND NATIONAL AMERICAN LEGION COMPONENTS TO PROMOTE THOSE FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES THAT MOST CLOSELY STRIVE TO ACHIEVE AN AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE THAT IS EXEMPLARY IN EVERY FACET. IN ADDITION, VARIOUS VETERANS ACTIVITIES ARE PROMOTED TO ASSIST THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED OUR COUNTRY.
