PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN - THE SCHOOL, INCORPORATED IN 1972, IS ACCREDITED BY THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG CHILDREN SERVING APPROXIMATELY 220 CHILDREN AGED ONE TO SIX. THE FOUNDATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM AT THE SCHOOL IS AN EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENTALLY BASED CURRICULUM THAT ENCOURAGES THE GROWTH OF CHILDREN'S THOUGHT PROCESSES, THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING, AND THEIR ABILITY TO OBSERVE, ANALYZE, PREDICT, AND MAKE CONCLUSIONS ABOUT THE WORLD. SUMMER CAMP - THE SCHOOL OFFERS A SIX-WEEK SUMMER PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AGED ONE TO SIX WHICH PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPLORE THE OUTDOORS, PARTICIPATE IN CREATIVE AND MUSICAL ACTIVITIES, AND ENJOY WATER PLAY OR SWIM LESSONS IN A SAFE AND CHILD-CENTERED ENVIRONMENT. THE SCHOOL SERVED APPROXIMATELY 200 CHILDREN IN THE SUMMER PROGRAM IN FISCAL YEAR 2021.
