THE COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM HELD FIVE CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 1/2 TO 5 YEARS OLD WITH BETWEEN 9 AND 14 CHILDREN PER CLASS. CLASSES BEGAN IN SEPTEMBER AND ENDED IN MAY. THE TAUXEMONT LEARNING EXPERIENCE ENCOURAGES PARENTS TO PARTICIPATE WITH THEIR CHILDREN DURING SCHOOL AND AT SPECIAL EVENTS. AVERAGE ENROLLMENT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IS 60 STUDENTS.
THE NATURE CAMP OFFERED ONE-WEEK CAMP SESSIONS FOR CHILDREN 3 1/2 TO RISING SECOND GRADERS DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. CHILDREN ENJOY A TRADITIONAL CAMP EXPERIENCE WITH NATURE HIKES, CAMP SONGS AND OPENING AND CLOSING CEREMONIES. APPROXIMATELY 250 CHILDREN TYPICALLY ATTEND THE NATURE CAMP.
