APPROXIMATELY 250-300 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WERE PROVIDED ROOM, BOARD, AND RELATED SERVICES ALONG WITH AN EXTENSIVE PROGRAM OF SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES. I-HOUSE DC ALSO ENCOURAGES RESIDENT SCHOLARS TO PARTICIPATE IN OUTREACH AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES SUCH AS ASSISTING LOCAL SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES AND OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.
