PRESENTED THE INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS - REGIONAL COUNCILS AND METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATIONS. ADVISED AND ASSISTED MEMBERS TO IDENTIFY AND EVALUATE AREA WIDE PROBLEMS AFFECTING GROWTH AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. SUPPORTED LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR SOLUTIONS TO INTER-JURISDICTIONAL PROBLEMS.
HELD MEETINGS ON TOPICS AFFECTING REGIONAL COUNCILS, CARRIED OUT THREE MAJOR CONFERENCES IN WASHINGTON, DC, RALEIGH, NC AND SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH DRAWING OVER 700 ATTENDEES.
