VETERANS ORGANIZATION PROVIDING EVENTS FOR MEMBERS AND COMMUNITY, TO BE AWARE OF NEEDS IN THE AREA, SUPPORT FOR THE COMMUNITY. SUPPORT VETERANS THROUGH ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SUPPORT FOR HITS FOR HEROS, MEMORIAL DAY PARADE, INVOLVEMENT WITH VETERANS HOME. WE SUPPORT LOCAL SCHOOLS.

THE SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION HOLDS EVENTS DURING THE YEAR TO BENEFIT THE VETERANS AND LOCAL COMMUNITY. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE STEAK AND PORK CHOP NIGHTS, A SPRING BBQ, BULL ROAST AND FOOD STAND CONCESSIONS AT BALL GAMES, THE INCOME FOR THESE EVENTS IS PASSED ON TO LOCAL CAUSES INCLUDING LOCAL SCHOOLS, THE CENTER FOR LIFE ENRICHMENT, THE AMERICAN LEGION AUXILLRY NS LOCAL CHURCHES. A TURKEY SHOOT HELD WEEKLY DURING THE WINTER PROVIDES A PLACE FOR COMMUNITY TO GATHER AND PARTICIPATE.
