THE COLUMBUS CLUB MAINTAINS THE PROPERTY (BUILDING AND GROUNDS) FOR THE ANNAPOLIS COUNCIL #1384 OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS 501(C)(8) (EIN: 52-1657566) FOR THE PURPOSE OF HOUSING CHARITABLE AND FRATERNAL ACTIVITIES OF THE COUNCIL AND THE RENTAL WHEN AVAILABLE OF THE HALL PORTION OF THE BUILDING. THE COLUMBUS CLUB ALSO PROVIDES USE OF THE BUILDING FOR THE ACTIVITIES OF ANNAPOLIS COUNCIL 1384 CHARITIES 501(C)(3) (EIN: 56-2503110).

THE ORGANIZATION OVERSAW THE FINALIZATION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW BUILDING FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE REPORTING PERIOD. THE ORGANIZATION TOOK POSSESSION OF THE NEW BUILDING IN 2021, HOLDING CHRISTMAS MASS AND ESTABLISHING THE BUILDING FOR MEETINGS OF THE ANNAPOLIS COUNCIL #1384 OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS AND THE ANNAPOLIS COUNCIL #1384 CHARITIES (501-C3). THE COUNCIL'S CHARITY BINGO CONTINUED AND EXPANDED IN THE NEW HALL. THE HALL WAS HOST TO THE ST. MARY'S MIDDLESCHOOL GRADUATION DANCE AND EXPANDED ADVERTISING THE HALL FOR RENT FOR WEDDINGS AND OTHER FUNCTIONS.


THE NEW HALL BECAME THE HOME OF THE ANNAPOLIS COUNCIL 1384 CHARITIES A 501C-3. PROVIDING STORAGE FOR OUR CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES SUCH AS COATS FOR KIDS, WHERE COATS WERE DROPPED OFF, SORTED AND PREPARED FOR VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS. SOME DISTRIBUTION WAS CONDUCTED FROM THE NEW BUILDING WITH THE MAJORITY BEING DISTRIBUTED IN THE COMMUNITY.


THE HALL BECAME THE MEETING PLACE FOR THE COUNCIL AND PARISH ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING NEW MEMBER CEREMONIES, PRIEST GOING AWAY AND PARISH PANCAKE BREAKFAST.
