NETWORK SERVICES IS AN ADVANCED BACKBONE NETWORK THAT CONNECTS REGIONAL NETWORK AGGREGATION POINTS TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF INTERNET2 UNIVERSITIES AS THEY DEVELOP ADVANCED INTERNET APPLICATIONS. THE INTERNET2 NETWORK IS THE NATION'S RESEARCH AND EDUCATION NETWORK AND PROVIDES STATE-OF-THE-ART SERVICES THAT RESEARCHERS USE TO ACCELERATE THE RATE OF THEIR SCIENTIFIC WORK AND DISCOVERY AND TO COLLABORATE WITH COLLEAGUES AND USE DIGITAL ASSETS AND TOOLS WORLDWIDE.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING, SUSTAINING AND EXPANDING MEMBERSHIP AND PARTICIPATION IN INTERNET2 AND BUILDING EXCITEMENT AROUND INTERNET2 PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY.
