CANINE AND HUMAN TEAM MEMBERS UNDERGO APPROXIMATELY 8,000-10,000 HOURS OF TRAINING ANNUALLY, WHICH, COMBINED WITH THE DOGS' NATURAL KEEN SENSE OF SMELL AND LOVE OF THE "WORK", GOES A LONG WAY TOWARD INCREASING THE CHANCE OF A SUCCESSFUL FIND. WE ARE AVAILABLE TO: (1) PROVIDE INTERACTIVE DEMONSTRATIONS AND LECTURES ABOUT OUR MISSION AND SERVICES TO BUSINESSES, SCHOOLS, SCOUT TROOPS, CLUBS (E.G., 4H, ROTARY, KIWANIS, AMERICAN LEGION, ETC.), FAIRS, AND SIMILAR EVENTS AND ORGANIZATIONS; (2) EDUCATE CHILDREN ABOUT BEING PREPARED IN THE WOODS, WHAT TO DO IF THEY BECOME LOST, AND HOW TO APPROACH DOGS; AND (3) PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS TO FULFILL COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS. CSD WAS LIMITED IN THE NUMBER OF DEMOS PERFORMED DURING 2020 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
