THE UNITED FOOD AND COMMERCIAL WORKERS (UFCW) CHARITY FOUNDATION (THE FOUNDATION) IS A 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT FOUNDATION PRIMARILY ESTABLISHED TO RAISE FUNDS TO BENEFIT RESEARCH THROUGH THE LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY (LLS), TOWARDS CURES FOR LEUKEMIA, LYMPHOMA, HODGKIN'S DISEASE, MYELOMA, AND OTHER BLOOD CANCERS, IN FULFILLING THE LLS'S MISSION TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE FOUNDATION ALSO DONATES TO OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AS DETERMINED BY ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
