THE ICRG OPERATES A PEER-REVIEWED RESEARCH GRANT PROGRAM WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF INDEPENDENT PEER REVIEWERS AND A SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD OF INDEPENDENT EXPERTS WHO MAKE THE FINAL DECISIONS ABOUT GRANT AWARDS. IN 2021, THE ICRG AWARDED A GRANT ON THE HEALTH IMPACT OF SPORTS WAGERING AND A GRANT ON LOTTERY GAMBLING AND RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING.
THE ANNUAL ICRG CONFERENCE ON GAMBLING AND ADDICTION IS TYPICALLY ATTENDED BY 200 TREATMENT PROVIDERS, RESEARCHERS, STUDENTS, PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS, REGULATORS AND MEMBERS OF THE GAMING INDUSTRY.
