THE FOUNDATION PRODUCES AND PROMOTES OUTDOOR ART EVENTS, SUCH AS THE OUTDOOR SUMMER CONCERT SERIES, THE EASTON FARMERS' MARKET, THE TALBOT COUNTY MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL, AND PLEIN AIR EASTON, THE NATION'S LARGEST OUTDOOR PAINTING COMPETITION. THE FOUNDATION RECEIVES MAJOR SUPPORT FROM THE TOWN OF EASTON, AS WELL AS MANY LOCAL BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS.
THE FOUNDATION FOSTERS A STRONG COMMUNITY ON THE EASTERN SHORE BY CREATING ACCESSIBLE, UPLIFTING ARTS, EDUCATION, AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCES THAT APPEAL TO THE INTERESTS OF A DIVERSE POPULATION AND TO ENSURE THE LONG TERM VIABILITY OF THE HISTORIC AVALON THEATRE.
THE FOUNDATION SHIFTED RESOURCES IN ORDER TO SERVE AND SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY DURING THE COVID-19 HEALTH CRISIS. IT ENGAGED IN ACTIVITIES SUCH AS ORGANIZING "FEED THE FRONT" EFFORTS TO SUPPORT LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND FRONTLINE WORKERS. IT STAFFED AND OPERATED A VACCINE CALL CENTER FOR TWO MONTHS TO SUPPORT THE TALBOT COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, AND USED ITS VIDEO PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES TO PRODUCE PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS (PSAS) AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS FOR TALBOT COUNTY'S EMERGENCY SERVICES.
THE FOUNDATION STRIVES TO SERVE AND EDUCATE THE YOUTH IN ITS COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION OPERATES THE AVALON CHILDREN'S THEATRE AND ITS SUMMER DAY CAMPS FOR CHILDREN. ALSO, THE FOUNDATION PRESENTED IN SEVERAL SCHOOL AND VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS TO BENEFIT TALBOT COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS. - 204,128 MCTV PROVIDES LOCAL TELEVISION PROGRAMMING OPPORTUNITIES TO INDIVIDUALS AND INSTITUTIONS IN TALBOT COUNTY. - 127,093
