CENTRAL MD PHYSICS OLYMPICS COMPETITION: WE SPONSERED THIS EVENT IN WHICH STUDENTS FROM VARIOUS MARYLAND SCHOOLS PARTICIPATED IN SCIENCE COMPETITIVE EVENTS. AWARDS WERE GIVEN AND PRESENTED. OUTREACH ALSO INCLUDED FUNDING FOR FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION.
DINNER GALA/EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH/NASA AIR & SPACE MUSEUM (NASM) RECEPTION: LUNCHEONS WERE HELD MONTHLY, GALA WAS HELD IN APRIL, NASM RECEPTION WAS HELD IN SEPTEMBER. ALL FUNCTIONS HAD SPEAKERS ON VARIOUS TOPICS OF INTEREST TO THE AEROSPACE AND EDUCATION COMMUNITIES. ATTENDENCE OF THE EVENTS VERIFIED FROM 200 TO 600 PEOPLE.
