WASHINGTON CONCERT OPERA PRESENTED A SERIES OF ONLINE PROGRAMS IN THE FACE OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: HIGHLIGHTS FROM GIUSEPPE VERDIS SIMON BOCCANEGRA, A RECITAL COMMEMORATING THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF WOMENS SUFFRAGE AND THE LATE SUPREME COURT JUSTICE RUTH BADER GINSBURG, AUDIO STREAMING OF PREVIOUS WCO PERFORMANCES, AND HIGHLIGHTS FROM VINCENZO BELLINIS I PURITANI, ALL OF WHICH FEATURED SOME OF TODAYS MOST ACCLAIMED OPERA STARS AND EXCITING EMERGING ARTISTS, AND RECEIVED HIGH PRAISE FROM CRITICS AND AUDIENCES ALIKE.
