WASHINGTON JAPANESE LANGUAGE SCHOOL WJLS PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN TO HELP THEM LEARN AND MAINTAIN JAPANESE LANGUAGE SKILLS AS WELL AS TO LEARN AND APPRECIATE THE CULTURE AND EVERYDAY JAPANESE CUSTOMS. SUBJECTS SUCH AS MATHEMATICS, LANGUAGE ARTS AND HISTORY ARE ALL TAUGHT IN JAPANESE. WJLS OPERATES A FULL DAY SATURDAY PROGRAM 41 DAYS A YEAR. ENROLLMENT AT THE WJLS IS FROM KINDERGARTEN THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL. DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WE HAD TO HAVE THE MIXTURE OF ONLINE & IN-PERSON CLASSES.
