DURING 2021 THE BOARD MET SEVERAL TIMES TO DEVELOPE A VIABLE PLAN TO ORGANIZE THE STREET FAIR FOR THE FIRS TTIME AFTER COVID LOCKDOWN. ULTIMATELY THE STREET FAIR WAS NOT PURSUED DUE TO LOCAL OPPOSITION AND CONCERN OVER COVID19.
THROUGHOUT COVID RESTRICTIONS THE CHAMBER CONTINUED TO FACILITATE MEETINGS AND SEMINARS FOR MEMBER BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO DISCUSS BUSINESS ISSUES AND PROMOTE MENTORING, EDUCATION, AND NETWORKING. DURING THE COVID LOCKDOWN, PPE, LOAN GUIDANCE, SIGNAGE FOR MERCHANTS, AND OTHER GENERAL SUPPORT PERTAINING TO NAVIGATING THE PANDEMIC CONTINUED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CHAMBER. IN DECEMBER THE CHAMBER ORGANIZED THE HOLIDAY IN THE SPRINGS EVENT ATTRACTING VILLAGERS AND BUSINESS OWNERS FOR THE LIGHTING THE CHRISTIMAS TREE IN TOWN.
