SPECIAL PROJECTS: ADMINISTERS AN ACQUISITION PROJECT FOR THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS TO COLLECT, DOCUMENT AND CATALOG PUBLISHED MATERIAL AND EPHEMERA IN TWELVE WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES; MANAGES A PROGRAM TO PRESERVE DAMAGED OR AT-RISK HERITAGE SITES AND MUSEUM COLLECTIONS IN THE MIDDLE EAST THROUGH GRANTS FROM THE J.M.
