INSTRUMENTATION SERVICES INCLUDE:- A GLOBAL SEISMOGRAPHIC NETWORK (GSN) OF MORE THAN 150 PERMANENT STATIONS WORLDWIDE FOR OBSERVATIONS OF GLOBAL EARTHQUAKE ACTIVITY AND OTHER NATURAL AND MANMADE SIGNALS.- A LENDING FACILITY (PASSCAL) WITH MORE THAN 3,000 PORTABLE SEISMIC AND MAGNETOTELLURIC INSTRUMENTS FOR TEMPORARY DEPLOYMENTS WORLDWIDE (INCLUDING POLAR REGIONS) FOR STUDIES OF EARTHQUAKES AND EARTH STRUCTURE.-A TRANSPORTABLE ARRAY THAT OPERATES A SEISMOGRAPHIC NETWORK ACROSS THE STATE OF ALASKA AND PARTS OF WESTERN CANADA FOR THE STUDY OF EARTHQUAKES, VOLCANOES, WEATHER, AND OTHER PHENOMENA.
