THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO FURTHER THE IDEALS OF THE ROTARY CLUB BY PROVIDING GRANT FUNDS TO LOCAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO COLLEGE STUDENTS.

PROVIDED 15 EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
THE LEXINGTON PARK ROTARY FOUNDATION, INC PROVIDED FUNDS IN 2020 FOR A VARIETY OF CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN ST. MARY'S COUNTY, MARYLAND. THE FOUNDATION SEEKS OUT GROUPS THAT DIRECTLY PROVIDE SHELTER, FOOD, AND SUPPORT TO THOSE IN THE COUNTY. REQUESTS ARE REVIEWED AND AVAILABLE DOLLARS DISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS IN 2021 WERE RELATED TO FOOD PANTRIES, HOMELESSNESS, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, NAACP, AND HOME REPAIR (CHRISTMAS IN APRIL,). THE FOUNDATION ALSO PARTICPATED IN GLOBAL GRANTS.
THE CLUB HONORS ROTARY CLUB MEMBERS BY DONATING TO THE ROTARY FOUNDATION. THE MEMBERS ARE THEN RECOGNIZED AS PAUL HARRIS FLLOWS.
