THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO FURTHER THE IDEALS OF THE ROTARY CLUB BY PROVIDING GRANT FUNDS TO LOCAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO COLLEGE STUDENTS.

PROVIDED 20 EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
THE CLUB SUPPORTS YOUTH AND EDUCATION BY SPONSORING A SCHOLARSHIP AWARD DINNER, COLLEGE FAIR AND SPEECH CONTEST. THE SPEECH CONTEST IS BASED ON HOW THE ROTARY FOUR WAY TEST CAN BE USED IN TODAY'S ENVIRONMENT.
THE LEXINGTON PARK ROTARY FOUNDATION, INC PROVIDED FUNDS IN 2022 FOR A VARIETY OF CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN ST. MARY'S COUNTY, MARYLAND. THE FOUNDATION SEEKS OUT GROUPS THAT DIRECTLY PROVIDE SHELTER, FOOD, AND SUPPORT TO THOSE IN THE COUNTY. REQUESTS ARE REVIEWED AND AVAILABLE DOLLARS DISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS IN 2022 WERE RELATED TO FOOD PANTRIES, HOMELESSNESS, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, NAACP, AND HOME REPAIR (CHRISTMAS IN APRIL,). THE FOUNDATION ALSO PARTICPATED IN GLOBAL GRANTS.
THE CLUB HONORS ROTARY CLUB MEMBERS BY DONATING TO THE ROTARY FOUNDATION. THE MEMBERS ARE THEN RECOGNIZED AS PAUL HARRIS FLLOWS.
