INTERFAITH POWER AND LIGHT (IPL): THE MAJOR EDUCATION AND OUTREACH DIVISION OF OUR INTERFAITH WORK WHICH INCLUDES PROGRAMS AND LECTURES PROVIDED AT 100'S OF HOUSES OF WORSHIP IN THE METROPOLITAN AREA AS WELL AS OUTREACH TO OTHER COMMUNITIES IN THE DELMARVA REGION. IN ADDITION TO EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ON THE RELATIONSHIP OF RELIGIOUS VALUES TO STEWARDSHIP AND CREATION CARE, IPL PROVIDES TRAINING AND RESOURCES TO HOUSES OF WORSHIP WHO SEEK TO MAKE THEIR BUILDINGS, GROUNDS, AND PROGRAMMING ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE.
INTERFAITH CONCERT: AN ANNUAL "CELEBRATION OF THE SACRED IN SONG, DANCE, AND CHANT." FOR MORE THAN 35 YEARS, AUDIENCES HAVE BEEN INSPIRED BY THE MUSICAL TALENTS OF CHORAL GROUPS, CHANGERS, BELL CHOIRS, AND DANCE COMPANIES REPRESENTING ALL OF OUR MEMBER FAITH TRADITIONS. THE CONCERT IS HOSTED ANNUALLY IN NOVEMEBER BY A LARGE HOUSE OF WORSHIP IN DC.
BRIDGE BUILDERS PROGRAM: AN ANNUAL EVENT WHICH HIGHLIGHTS THE WORK OF A DIVERSE GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS IN THE AREA OF INTERFAITH RELATIONSHIPS AND PROVIDES A CULTURAL EVENT FOR THE INTERFAITH COMMUNITY OF DC METRO.
