A NON-POLITICAL AND NON-PARTISAN ORGANIZATION, WE WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS BOTH IN THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS TOWARDS THE PUBLIC HEALTH GOAL OF REDUCING THE USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, TO FULFILL ITS MISSION, IBH FOCUSES ON FIVE PUBLIC POLICY OBJECTIVES. EACH WITH ITS OWN AGENDA, THESE ARE LISTED BELOW. THE FIVE OBJECTIVES ARE: 1) TO REDUCE DRUGGED DRIVING, 2) TO REDUCE PRESCRIPTION DRUG ABUSE, 3) TO IMPROVE ADDICTION TREATMENT, 4) TO PREVENT USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, AND 5) TO IMPROVE INTERNATIONAL DRUG POLICY.
