DANCE PROJECT SUPPORTS REGIONAL ARTISTS AND ENCOURAGES THE CREATION AND PRESENTATION OF ORIGINAL CHOREGRAPHIC WORKS BY AREA DANCE ARTISTS BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERFORMANCE, TRAINING, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND NETWORKING. IN ADDITION, IT EDUCATES DANCE STUDENTS OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES THROUGH ONGOING CLASSES AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS. DANCE PROJECT ENCOURAGES THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES TO VIEW DANCE AND TO GAIN AN UNDERSTANDING OF AND APPRECIATION FOR MODERN DANCE.
