ARTS FOR PEACE - THE PACEM IN TERRIS YOUTH ARTS FOR PEACE PROGRAM IS ONE OF OUR MOST BELOVED INITIATIVES. IN ITS NINTH YEAR, ARTS FOR PEACE PROVIDES AN ALL-INCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY FOR HISTORICALLY UNDERREPRESENTED STUDENTS TO HAVE THEIR VISIONS OF PEACE ON DISPLAY IN HIGH FOOT TRAFFIC, IMPACTFUL LOCATIONS. STUDENTS KNOW THEIR CREATIVE ARTWORK IS VALUED AND BEING SEEN. THEIR INSPIRING MESSAGES OFFER HOPE TO THE 150,000 PEOPLE PER YEAR ENTERING THE 20 DISPLAY LOCATIONS. THE ARTS FOR PEACE PROGRAM HUMANIZES THE DISPLAY LOCATIONS, PROVIDES VISIBILITY FOR DELAWARE YOUTH, AND BRINGS JOY TO BUILDING STAFF AND VISITORS. PEACE EDUCATION - RESTORING THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS: A 20-HOUR INTENSIVE PAID COMMUNICATION SKILLS TRAINING OVER 6-8 WEEKS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
